There are several misconceptions about networking. It is really all about building professional connections - relationships that have mutual trust and goodwill. It has a give-and-take dynamic. We call this process of building relationships "growing your tribe."

Victoria Okotie is the CEO of Kevin Mitch Group, an analytics and tech consulting company that creates customized data-driven solutions for small and large businesses. Her global engineering experience from Fortune 500 companies fuels her passion for professional development. Victoria is also a co-founder of TorchPoint, an advocate for diversity in leadership. She received her bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a master's degree in Data Science from Texas Tech University. Victoria also holds an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology. Her doctorate program at Concordia University Chicago focuses her specialization on Strategic Leadership and Innovation. Victoria lives in Houston with her husband and two kids, and they enjoy traveling and game nights.
Mildred Mabirizi is a transformational leader with extensive years of experience in the oil and gas industry. She is the co-founder of TorchPoint and an Electrical engineer by discipline. In her professional career, she advises executive leaders on how to deliver their business strategy. As a powerful force in the workplace, Mildred uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to support others to reach their full potential. Mildred is an alumnus of the Colorado School of Mines. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids and loves running, baking, and volunteering.
